Assalamualaikum .

okay , sorry to myself for the busyness and all that stuff that I had to do till I don't have time to update my blog . but today Imma make it happen no matter what . Imma update about me joining the 'misi sukarelawan banjir' under UiTM . about the urmm..pharmacy thingy , maybe later .

well , it took me kinda long time to think whether I wanna join this mission or not . of course I wanna join it at first , but after I knew that kak nurul didn't get to join the mission , I started to feel unsure whether I still wanna go there or not since I know nobody there that join the mission too . I was thinking that it was kinda good too since I would have a chance to meet new people and make new friends . but cass kinda worried bout that because yknow , Kelantan is way far from Selangor and of course he afraid that something bad would happen to me when I was there at Kelantan . Mama seems okay with me going to Kelantan . so in the end , I went to Kelantan .

our mission was from 27 Jan- 30 Jan 2015 . during day one , we only just had some sleep and a moviemarathon since the bus was kinda luxurious with two plasma tv , karaoke and all other stuff . we arrived at UiTM Machang at approximately 9pm . the next day , we had breakfast and went to SMK Laloh for our mission . we are the first volunteers that came there . Alhamdulillah we did our mission well and finished right on time . the school got no electric yet , and the water supply there was still not really good . the water was yellow and cloudy .

during Jan 29 , we went to SK Kampong Karangan to help cleaning out classes and roads that still covered with thin layer of muds . the kids there were so small and cute . some of them were pretty excited to meet us . some of them were just..I don't know , sad and maybe they don't really care anymore . we were the 16th group of volunteers that came there to clean up the messes that caused by the floods . so maybe that's why some of them didn't really feel excited when we came there . we did give them some snacks that we brought from our home . and Alhamdulillah we finished our mission earlier than we thought . everyone was tired , but we were happy and satisfied too . 

that night , ketua misi brought us to Wakaf Che'Yeh as a treat for us because we did a good job in helping the residents . Wakaf Che'Yeh was just like pasar malam . I bought a long sleeve shirt :)

things that broke my heart was the condition of houses in that area . Kuala Krai was one of the area which the houses were fully destroyed . ranap habis..those whose house made of bricks still can be used , but those with 'rumah papan' can no longer be used . one of the makcik there said that when the flood was gone and she came back to her house (which was made up of bricks) , she felt like her house was an island , surrounded by the sea . because the houses around her house was completely destroyed (which made up of woods) . that was so sad and they even had to live in a small tent only . with no fans and lamps . 

seriously I can't imagine the hardships that they had to go through . too much to handle and their houses don't even rebuild yet by the government . but I believe that everything happens for reasons and there is relief in every difficulty . it was a very big test for them indeed . and it was a test too for us . Allah wanna see whether we truly care about them , about our own brothers and sisters (in Islam) or not . if we can't help them by giving them a place to stay or a cloth to wear , at least help them by praying for them . 

pray for the best for them . and please , always be grateful with whatever you have now . may Allah give them the best that they deserve and ease everything for them , and for all of us too . aminn
